In the early 1990s, Gabriele Sommer was one of just a few women experts at TÜV SÜD. The trained geologist has headed up the HR department at the company since 2011. Her goal: To significantly increase the number of women specialists at TÜV SÜD – and specifically promote opportunities for advancement for women within the company.
